LMK if you do.
Or do you come across any 67 cam parts at your car shows, like a rear folding down seat stuff like that.
Or front seats 67-69
JR do you want to sell that Nova?
RS,
You really don't want my Nova, needs lots of work. In the next two weeks, will be patching a hole in the roof, where an after market sunroof is and a left rear quarter patch panel, followed by body work. Then the interior will be done. Going to take out the bench and put in buckets and build a console for it. Also will be rewiring the engine compartment, hiding all wires.
The motor needs nothing, brand new and wish I knew what they put in it, because it is really healthy, big cam. Has brand new 3" exhaust with Flowmasters and sounds really sweet. The suspension and everything on the underside has been replaced or rebuilt. My first attempt at putting a shift kit and seals in an AT seems to have been successful. Really like the Lokar shifter and flex AT dipstick. Went down and bought a new bracket for the detent cable, will put that on tomorrow.
At this time, I'm planning on keeping the car. It's my first Chevy that I will be restoring and want to finish it. I'm not real familar with Chevy or Camaro stuff, but will ask about the seats for you. Have friends and a brother that are really into Chevys and Camaros. A guy I work with is into Camaros, has a numbers matching 67/68 RS/SS. Will ask him, but he is really tight, buys low and sells high. Swap meet is next Saturday, will keep an eye out.
Now how do you like my new ride? Well, hope to own it in a few weeks. I've been trying to buy this for a year, ready to now if the price is right. If I can get it for the same price or near that as last year, it's mine. '34 all metal Ford, 350/350, electric water pump, A/C ready to put in. There is also a bra for it and is in excellent shape. Here's a picture from one of two car shows I went to today.
