I'm down a bit from last month, and it's the 20th already!

Starting to feel a little like summer.. And the auctions are still real strong.. With all the money cars are bringing wholesale, I would think buyers would be beating the door down to snap em up!

GOOD LUCK!!!! i have seen pics of ur place and cars, u have some nice stuff!!!! should be ez,
If u advertize up north i think u should be able to sell the hell out of mid priced rust free cars. mid, late 90s , those cars r shot after 8 ,10 years up north. Tony has a perfect town car , that is a home run up north.
I sold my Z28 this week end ,just what we paid for it. I finished the celica just need to put custom wheels from the donar car and smog. now my daughter doesnt want a 5 speed.

Doc,

In todays newspaper, there is an article by AP titled, "Looking for a used car? Watch out for Katrina-damaged vehicles." It states upward of a half-million cars and trucks were damaged along the Gulf Coast and Florida.

It goes on about being leery about ending up with a water-damaged vehicle. With what I read, I interupt it to say that one should stay away from Gulf Coast and Florida vehicles. It also states that one should shop at a reputable dealer.

You should be able to find the article. What kind of effect with this have on sales in Florida?

JR

Morning everyone.
Doc, I hope you sell 20 this week.
I have the utmost respect for anyone who sells cars for a living.
From this point on, when and if I sell another rigg, it will go on the boat.
I have a bad case of red azz this morning, and I am sure it will get worse as the day goes on.

My hats off to all car dealers. "May your face have a smile, and your pockets be full of green"
Be patient, and get-r-done

Morning, Tommy..

Didn't sell a thing yesterday! Had 3 that were supposed to come in, but none showed up. One did call at 7:00 and wanted to come down at 8:00PM.. Told him to come tomorrow.

The lot guys already put all the cars in the warehouse, they pack em in so tight it is nearly impossible to walk between em.. I have seen them pull the mirrors in and push them in a row so tight you couldn't slide a piece of cardboard between em!

Oh Well.. Another day.. Hopefully someones ASS will be sitting in a Seat Today.. :)

Doc, some days are dry and hardly seem worth going to work. Hope you sell a few today.

I'm working on getting a settlement from the feds and then decide whether I can retire. I'm not holding my breath, because the claims are going slowly. If I can work two more years, I'll be in great shape, would get 65% of my wage, plus SS and income from another source. I can live on that quite well. It's getting harder to get up in the morning and go to work.
