witch_is_me account may be dead lol

Post by witchie » June 25th, 2004, 11:39 pm

Ebay changed their billing policies without notifying anyone. Up until the first part of the year it was invoice on the 15th deduct payment on the 5th of the following month. Thats how I set up my book keeping. They used to also let you carry a past due balance up until the next invoice. Sales were great until the beginning of June and took a nose dive. I got my invoice stating they would deduct it in 5-7 days. They tried to deduct that night. I ended up with 150.00 past due, no biggie I would have had all of it plus the current bill paid off before the next invoice, but instead I got a notice earlier this week saying they had suspended my account and that they would try and deduct payment again in 5-7 days, they again tried deducting it that night. Now I don't feel like paying them lol. Fuck em is the nicest thing I have to say about them. I've dealt with months of double billing, costing me bank fees and never getting a credit. They owe me because of their screw ups more than I currently owe them and I don't give a rats behind.

I have another account lol I can still sell. I'm sharing it with a friend until she can get a checking account and get her own sellers account set up. Did you know they now require both a checking account number and a credit card number? If this is their idea to cut down on fruad it may help just a little. For now i'm playing that account pretty quiet. Once She has her own and its all mine again i'll be changing the name and using it full time. I understand why they suspended my witchie account, but sheesh I can't even post on the boards with it hehehe course I'd be posting about their billing screw ups and even more problems. It has been a nightmare the past six months. And they are letting the auctions running end so it will take a bit before they can naru my regular account lol store listings still have 27 days on some of them

I think the place is going to hell, it's only a matter of time. A majority of the people will not give out a credit card to get an account on eBay. eBay has no credibility to speak of lately.

Jamie, one solution to get an account is to one them pre-pay credit cards. Just put a limited amount on it, use it to get the account going, then spend the money and the credit card is no more.

When I was in Ohio, one of my co-workers had one of these (either Mastercard or Visa) and then he was able to rent a car. This was a way to keep companies from overcharging his credit cards. I think there is a minimal charge to get one, he kept adding more money to it at Rite Aid drug store.

Just an idea, gives one more control over others having access to your credit cards. I wish I had done it with Dish Satellite. Have 5 more months with them bastards and the dish goes in the garbage.

Witchie, Sorry to hear about your eBay Nightmare!

They just totally Suck! Im not selling squat thesev days, Did sell the Rolls after the auction ended 6k short!

And the 67 Camaro ended 5k short as well.

Like JR Said, eBay has lost there credibility and all they are concerned with is coming up with more ways to squeeze the sellers out of more $$$!!

Folks are afraid to spend any serious money on the site!

Doc, I'd sure like to have that Camaro. It looks really sweet and has air. I've seen them like yours all over the place, just about the same price, but never with factory air. In my opinion, I think that makes it a very rare car, atleast in my area. It does looks like a Barrett-Jackson auction car IMHO.

No im not doing anything with it, i jsut wanted to have the email address

[email protected]

i have many domains and i can set up email addresses for any of them (with forwarding) for free

currently i have 2,000.00 availble want one?

i can get some domains as low as $4.00 a year so it wouldnt be hard to make email addresses to order (assuming availiblity) in fact i tried to sell the service on ebay but the auctions were removed
