Have you noticed...............

Post by RS69cam777 » January 30th, 2006, 5:12 pm

I just got one of my Ele. bills with a note explaining why the increase,

Saying because of the cost of gas the price they are raising the Ele.

I would like to know if anyone in this Government has even a remotely clue as to the effects of the Oil Co.s record profit greed?

Also we do Irragation and the PVC pipe has tripled in price due to this.

Starter homes around here are about 200k. I don't know how anyone can afford that. I managed to put some down on this one and can barely afford it.

Not here, they are selling the horse farms here, on 200 and one near here on 475 off 484 they split up the land selling it in 10 ac lots guess how much an ac?

50 grand an Ac. and you have to buy 10 Ac.= 500 grand thats just the land not counting a house.

And they just broke up the fam and have all the lots sold but 2 last I heard.

Generally the smaller the lot the more per acre. I think a 1 ac around here is going for about 35k but they have so many land use laws that just cause you own it don't mean you can build it. There are a lot of lots around that could be built except land use won't allow it. That's why places like mine are worth a decent amount. 5 ac with a bldg permit is worth a lot even if it's got a double wide on it. (hey, I didn't mean me)

WA state's new governor raised the holy shit out our taxes. We voted several times to have $30.00 vehicle tabs and she found a way to increase the license by the amount the vehicle weighs. It's going to another public election to get rid of the extra costs and taxes on our tabs. This governor will be a one termer. She only won by a few votes, kinda like Bush and Gore in Fla.

We do have the cheapest power bills here in the Pacific NW than any other place in the USA.

You're right Sharon, everything goes up except our wages.
