The moderator that hates you Doc, must of come back from maternity leave and decided to go for your throat again. I have no idea where you violated their policies, I usually have no clue to any of their accusations.

Another day of draggin' ass. It's really nice outside, but not up to doing anything except maybe a nap shortly. Two days of getting up early on my days off, driving 45 miles to work and fixing shit that these ignorant engineers that sit behind a desk design wrong. Still pissed about getting a potentially significant dose of radioactive contamination, internally this week. I get a kit to piss and shit in for them to sample. Looks like creamed corn, peanuts, beer and tequilla night, when the kit comes.

My life long best friend and I work together, belong to the same car clubs and do quite a bit of stuff together, had a breakfast at the Big Y Tavern, which is shutting down/demolished for the new freeway this morning. After dealing with some ignorant SOB that decided to re-invent the wheel, we finshed 4 hours later, got to the breakfast as most were leaving, including our wives. We had breakfast and drank beer at 10:30am. The beer was ice cold and great, breakfast was great too.

Hope everyone else has a great weekend.

Recently one of my friends, a computer wizard, paid me a visit. As we were talking I mentioned that I had recently installed Windows 95 on my PC, I told him how happy I was with this operating system and showed him the Windows 95 CD. Too my surprise he threw it into my micro-wave oven and turned on the oven. Instantly I got very upset, because the CD had become precious to me, but he said: 'Do not worry, it is unharmed.' After a few minutes he took the CD out, gave it to me and said: 'Take a close look at it.' To my surprise the CD was quite cold to hold and it seemed to be heavier than before. At first I could not see anything, but on the inner edge of the central hole I saw a inscription, an inscription finer than anything I have ever seen before. The inscription shone piercingly bright, and yet remote, as if out of a great depth:

1213AEBED4FA56F7D7E8EDE09402F9240EE0E50CC9D44AA08324

'I cannot understand the fiery letters,' I said. 'No but I can,' he said. 'The letters are Hex, of an ancient mode, but the language is that of Microsoft, which I shall not utter here. But in common English this is what it says:'

One OS to rule them all, One OS to find them, One OS to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

If you follow GomerPiles advice, you'll ruin your CD and possibly your microwave.

Put an old AOL or blank cd in your microwave, turn it on for 5 to 8 seconds and watch it crack, spark, and ruin the cd.

Yea.. AOL Cd's are the ticket..

Too bad you can't reformat em and use em over again.. I used to love the floppys coming in the mail.. But each oue usually had one bad sector. Still was useable though..

Whatever happened to the good old days??
