eBay Presentation at Imagine 2013 General Session

During this Imagine 2013 presentation in October 2013, John Donahoe CEO of eBay Inc said (at 12:25), "we sell 12,000 cars weekly per mobile device."
I'm wondering if that is a fact? Or a figment of John Donahoe's Imagination? It's one thing to sell 12,000 cars, it's another for the seller to actually get paid for a car sold on eBay Motors.
