OK, I was washing cars. Not that exciting. Had to wash the bugs off the Escape so I washed the Ford too. Now they're all prettiful. I think Doc hit every bug tween here and Phil's so there was a lot of washing to do.
So I went to Wally World to buy seat covers. Baby girl picked em out for me. Yeah, they have turtles on them. Didn't come in purple though so they're just tan. If I'd found purple ones Tommy woulda probably decided he had to leave me a present.

Yeah Sharon, washing them bugs off can be a real chore. Drove back from the car show, yesterday evening when all the bugs were out. It wasn't as bad as it was 2 years ago. 2 years ago, so many bugs, the front half of the yellow car was almost all black from the bugs. Couldn't see out the windshield too well about 10 miles from home. That's what we got to put up with living in a rural area.
Had a great time at this weekends car show. I took second place in my class and second place in the "Slow Drags." Got a trophy for the show and $75.00 for the race. My competition for the Slow Drags is a '70 Monza, owned by a couple in my car club. He beat me by .75 seconds, like he always does. I vowed to beat him next year. Perry and Sue had a time of 52.85 seconds and mine was 53.63 seconds, only knocked off .04 seconds off from last year.
Was a great weekend, great food, beer, cars, entertainment, and more. The Men's "Drag" race and beauty contest was a hoot. There are pictures on my web page I'm working on to have them show up as thumbnails and not links. Might know how, but still too early to think clearly. Need more coffee to wake up.
