Thats total nonsence,

Cops had a small time raodblocks trying to catch me doing the samething in a 68 camaro,

They ended up catching me, As I came around this steet side ways Wide 12" tires spinning engine screaming.

LS short= Judge made me read some ord. about noise up front in the courtroom, then hit me with a $125.00 fine.

ANOTHER TIME= Cop sitting with R. near R.R. tracks {about a 1000'} away,
I hit the gas {67 firebird, LT1 vette built/ with a M22 rockcrusher}

Car just sat there and raosted the tires, Smoke come up on both side up to the rear windows until I let up on the gas to get traction then took off there was smoke like a cloud covering both sides of the road,

All of a sudden comming through the cloud I seen lights flashing ect..

I was pulling out of the local A&W and chirpped the tires (just chirpped that's it) Got pulled over by "Baseline Scotty" and got a ticket for exhibition of speed.

I tried to explain that wheel spinning is counter productive to speed!!

He didn't appreciate explanation!

Just plain narrow minded

They had the "Smokin' Joe's Burn Out & Hot Chili Contest last weekend in Goldendale, WA.

They were allowed to do burnouts down Main Street, as long as they didn't go over 20mph. I was told it was really cool, lots of tire smoke and cars fishtailing. Maybe I'll catch it next year. This little town has about six car events throughout the warm weather months, including a Concours show and race.
