Hmmmm..
Katie1381 apers to be swallowing some eBay employee and coming in here to defend eBay.
Now far be it me to stir up any crap, But! Just what in the heck does some Bimbo that buys 3.00 Cross Stitch Patterns know about Cars? Probably as much as the combined motors team knows!
And don't forget, Proper spelling and sentencing skills are not a requirement to fight in the US Service! So why should they be here?
I'm a dang uneducated hillbilly in some areas but, I know cars and can work the web better than most!
So if you don't like what you read, go back to doing your cross stitch crap!

Rockin Rick I don't know who the hell you are, but Doc knows I'm just joking around with him. I've known doc online for a long time. He knows if I seriously had a bone to pick with him, which has never happend, that I'd take it private not harrass him in public. I have nothing but respect for doc and a few good laughs along the way.
Dane your probably right about her not being able to handle what I design. The designs aren't for everyone.

JR did you ever get the pin striping done on that car?

No, didn't get it done. Found out the kid that does it, uses pinstriping tape to make his lines, then freehands the rest. Friday, I am going to run some of that tape down the side of my pickup and do it myself. I used to do body and fender for a living many years ago, still keep my hand in it by painting a few cars now and then. Used do custom painting, but never could paint freehand the stripes. With the new tape used for guides, I figure I can do it and will freehand the ends. I'll show you a picture when I do it.
Toooooooo early, these 10 hour work days, with a 90 mile round trip are not fun. I'm also nursing a pinched nerve in my neck, which goes down my shoulder and arm. Had physical therapy yesterday, think I did it doing my martial arts. Just two more days of work, I hope to be in a better mood, was chewing on everyones ass yesterday. I work for the government and they have a lot of worthless bastards that screw off or go hide to get out of working. It really pissed me off. Too early to think about work, especially get pissed.

JR fenders eh? Hmm does this mean you weld too? becareful of your answer you may get a nova fender with a rust hole clean thru on your doorstep lol. Can't weld to save my life. I can pound dents sand and fill, probably could lead if i had the supplies and tools its like sculpting. But I can't weld in new sheet metal. and I won't patch a whole with bondo..eventually it will fall out no matter how good it is.
I'd love to see pics when your pinstripes are finished. I've watched the old timers free hand them. We had one come out to our saturn dealership two hours before customers were set to pick up cars. He would have them on in no time flat so they had plenty of time to dry. Its an art and steady hand I know I could never do. I'd use tape too. A friend of mine works for a company that does powder coating. he just did his hood. At least it won't ever get rock chips

Yeah I can weld too. I hate bondo, try to metal finish as much as I can before putting on a thin coat of it. You can get one of those Benzomatic torches, cut out the rust spot and braze on a patch, then apply a skim coat of bondo, sand and primer. I did it before I bought a welder, friend has the car, did the body work about 25 years ago, still looks good.
Got a speeding ticket tonight on the way home from car club meeting. Had four cop cars watching me. I was doing 42 in a 30, he says. I was being passed by another car when he caught me. I swear I was doing 35 to 37 mph. Anyways I asked to look at the radar, he wouldn't let me, told me to get in my truck or be arressted for hindering. I started taking notes, but then he brought the ticket to sign, he asked for SS number, I said it was private, asked for employer, said unemployed, asked for phone number, gave that. He gave it to me to sign, I was reading it, he said to sign it or be arrested for hindering again. I said I was going to read it before I signed it and if I had questions he was going to answer them. He said he had things to do, I told him bullshit, there was 4 of them to give little ol' me a ticket. I said I wasn't going to cause any problems, but I was going to read the ticket. He kept threatening to arrest me and I said fine, I'll sign it and he could place it where the sun don't shine. I think he was pissed because the other day, he seen me go through the farmers field by my house and couldn't catch me and this was his way of getting even. It's gonna cost me $132.00. I would of like to have him thrown me in jail but I'd lose my security clearance, don't want to do that. Thing is, that I was very nice to him and he was a total jerk. I did verbally express my thoughts about him and a few other things. I'll pay it, but my vehicle is marked now. The cops where I live used to be really cool, not any more.

JR I need your address to ship this fender to lol you may want to just hide lol.
The cop tagged the guy passing you and nailed you for it.. been there and done that. Fight it. You want the specs on his radar gun, when It was first put into service, the calabration and service records for it, the company name who does the calibration for it and I'll ask connor about the other info. They won't get this for you in time for a court date and if by some chance they do its almost always outdated info. You walk out of court either winning or getting off due to their obstruction of justice not getting you the info. Worked for me when I got nailed for the little rice burners 57 in a 45 construction zone. I asked for all the info didn't get it showed up in court and walked out grinning ear to ear. Not only did I not get the info I had requested the cop knew it and didn't show up in court. It only sucked because I was prepaired for a battle and didn't get to. Kinda like looking forward to a battle of whits only to find the troll has none on the motors board lol.

Witchie,
Give me your mailing address and I will send you a replacement fender. I like doing things, small dent here and there, a little painting, but if it involves pain and suffering to me while I'm doing it, I'm not interested.
