The Doctor remembers when they didn't even have cars, just stagecoaches! Most of us don't even remember when they only had black and white TV.:-D

I do remember Black And White TV.. But not stagecoaches.. I do remember when the St Pete Times called Blacks Niggers on the front page! Times sure have changed in 50 Years!

It was a big deal to have a color TV back in the good ol days,

And who can forget the color dials up front either under the screen or later when they were on the side of the screen,

Ah and then if you messed with the color adjustments in the back, WOW you might just as well get ready to call the TV man,

Unless you did not mind everything Blue or green or yellow .

You know that DOG guy don't mean nothing by that post. He was just messing around with you. We all know you're an expert in all forms of transportation. Any man that was around when they invented the wheel should be!

Darkies

Post by blueturtlemotors » April 8th, 2006, 8:35 am

My Grandparents used to own a country store in a small town during the depression. A couple times a month people would come from all over to buy supplies for the weeks ahead. They were always glad to extend credit to anyone. When the black people would come in my Grandmother used to tell them. "You Darkies better come back and pay this bill or the BOOGIE MAN out there in those woods will get you."

I never asked if they paid their bill. My guess is you would not get away with those kind of credit practices in these days and times.

Boy, do I feel nekkid this morning. Shaved my beard off. I thought about waiting a week or two before cutting it off, but decided now was a good time.

I have to have my annual mask fit for work and no beards allowed, will have to trim the 'stache a little before I go in. Lastly, them gubberment security guards said to either change my facial appearence to match my badge or get a new picture badge to match my face. They must of thought I was beginning to look like Osama Bin Ladin or some other muslim terrorist.
