Dixie, like you, I don't like Daylight Savings Time (DST). It ruins the whole day and throws my animals off their feeding time. Today, was not bad, but the next one, where we turn the clocks back for an extra hour, they will nag at me a hour before they are to be fed.
I wish WA state was like Arizona, no DST. DST should be banned, period.

It is a little out dated idea,
But it don't bother me, as I don't complain like some woman do

I hate DST. I generally can tell time just by where the sun is. It really throws me off.
I thought I was doing great this morning. I got up at about 6 and cleaned a bunch and fixed my router and thought I was cruising. Then I realized it was DST spring forward and I hadn't accomplished what I'd thought with my day.
I'd better pack a couple more orders. I have a meeting at 7:30 tomorrow. Hehe, I guess I'll have to get dressed, oh wait, it's a phone conference. As long as I have my coffee I can be sitting around in my cow jammies.

I was thrown off by DST and went to bed after watching the Sopranos. I hate DST.
I had Radiological Worker II refresher class in town this morning and finished at 12:30. It would take me a hour to get to work, after I took my 30 minute lunch, so they said go home. No argument from me and I get paid for 10 hours. Got home and had a box with 3 plastic bottles to fill (bioassay, checking for internal intake of nuke stuff). Started on one.
Also, last Friday, a sub-contractor got a little shock when he strung some telephone wire under 13.8kv and 230kv lines. They had a critique this morning, I had planned the work package correctly, all the safety controls, etc. This sub-contractor and his electrical sub-contractor didn't like all the restrictions I put on them for the work, said they knew what they were doing and didn't need the controls. Surprise, dumb shits, didn't they teach them not to screw with high voltage electrical wires and to keep a safe distance.
I'm gonna kick back, eat a little lunch and sip on some Crown over the rocks. You'll have a nice day.
