I just heard Denis weaver died?

And was near 82??????????? whats that all about? man I can't believe he was that old.

last I heard about him was, he was building some dome self suf. no ele. ect.... home out in tim-buk to somewhere .

I did'nt think he was that old.

I didn't think so either. He was really into the dome stuff. I think it was in Taos that he built one years ago. They were built with old tires and rammed earth. Really pretty cool. After the walls are all up you stucco em. Looked a lot like the old southwestern adobes except they were curvier. I think he was doing something with strawbale too. Around here that would mold the first year no matter what you did.

To do what you want and die of a ripe old age is fine. He made quite an impact on the environmentally concientious building movement. RIP
