Our Retail has literally ground to a halt!

We sold 13 classics last month....and so far this month we have sold 2...My former co-workers at the Ford store say, they didnt even cover their draw last month...Used car only stores, seem to be hit hard last month also....Thank goodness Spring and tax refunds will be coming soon to help pick up the pace for those.

Problem here is, there is not much business so not too many new car trades. Lots of junk at the auctions & it is bringing top dollar!

I had one maybe today that so far has not shown up..

I think things are just tough for a lot of people. I know I've been trying to avoid any major purchases. Christmas was hard. I know I don't have many buyers of anything except used books that are $1-$5. I was blessed I got hit by a few big orders recently for caps, otherwise I'd be hurtin.

January was very slow. I stocked up and the entire lot is overflowing. I sold 3 today off the street and one closed online.

At the end of the year and first part of January, I was absolutely swamped with repair work. The shop worked 10 hour days to get it done.

Back to normal now. We've had good weather and I've even had a few AC jobs come in.
